29. Planning: Sound

Teen drama films generally have sombré tones to their soundtrack, as this aligns to the conventions of a teen drama being dark. To conform to this mood, We decided to research sounds and loops on 'GarageBand' that would help add to the atmosphere of our piece.

I selected 'Moods' within Loops on GarageBand, and selected the category 'Arrhythmic' and then 'Cinematic.' By selecting this theme, I had access to long loops of music with slow introductions and a use of string instruments to create a intense and dramatic atmosphere.

We will creating the sound tracks in Garageband which will be mostly moody and dark sounds with included sound effects that we will be also adding to the title sequence, we will be embedding the sound tracks that we make on Final Cut Pro.
